DELIVERY/SHIPMENT

  • Minimum Consignment Value $750.00 (Realized Value)
  • Minimum Lot Value is about $50.00 (Realized Value) for Single Items and about $100.00 for Collections/Bulk Type Lots.
  • Include an itemized inventory and label/mark each lot.
  • Pack well and ship with adequate insurance.
  • Clearly indicate any special lotting requirements.

CONFIRMATION
      We promptly acknowledge receipt of all shipments and advise you in which sale(s) your material will be scheduled.
      (To permit sufficient time for lotting, catalog preparation , etc. your material should reach us at least ten weeks before the sale.)

LOTTING
      Your material will be researched, cataloged, described and logically presented to maximize results. Some items will be lotted individually and others grouped depending on type of material, value and condition. Indicate any special lotting requirements on your inventory list.

CATALOG PREPARATION
      Professionally written and profusely illustrated catalogs are mailed at least five weeks in advance of sale date with Worldwide distribution numbering in the thousands. Additionally, the complete catalog for each sale including all photographs are available on the Internet.

LOTTING SUMMARY
      An itemized list of your material by lot is provided about 1 month prior to the sale.

ADVERTISING/PROMOTION
      All auctions are well publicized in many national and regional publications.

INSPECTION OF LOTS
      Material for each auction is open for inspection in our spacious facilities for at least 3 weeks prior to the sale.

COMMISSION & SETTLEMENT
      A complete itemized statement with full settlement less our commission is mailed 45 days after the sale. Our commission is 10%.

BONDED PROTECTION
      All material is fully insured while in our possession and handled by a fully bonded professional staff.

QUALIFIED AUCTIONEER
      The Stamp Center is a subscriber to the ASDA Code of Ethics for Public Auction Firms.

PEACE OF MIND
       While Auction Realizations will normally vary somewhat from sale to sale, it's reassuring to know that you have the protection of a Guaranteed Minimum (for your total consignment).
